Look around you and you will see most people having a hard time dealing with anxiety. If you look closer, you will see many suffering from depression as well. Separately, millions of people suffer from peripheral pain. All of these small and larger problems now have a new way to be dealt with, the Alpha-Stim Treatment.
Alpha-Stim is a medical device that uses electrotherapy for the treatment of anxiety, insomnia and depression, as well as peripheral pain.
How it works
There are two ways to use Alpha-Stim:
1. With earclip electrodes that deliver a tiny amount of current into the brain for sessions that last from 20 to 60 minutes. This way is called Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) and treats anxiety, insomnia and depression.
2. With probes that deliver a small current through the area of the body which is in pain. This is called Microcurrent Electrical Therapy (MET) and it treats pain.
In both cases, Alpha-Stim produces a unique waveform that stimulates the activity of the neurological system of the patient, which in turn helps with the treatment of problems like depression, anxiety and insomnia, as well as local pain.
Is it Safe?
Alpha-Stim is non-pharmacological, so you will not take any pills for the treatment. It is regulated by the FDA in the USA and it is approved by many countries worldwide. It has been supported by over 95 independent studies and published reports, showing that it has helped 90% of the patients who tried it. It does not cause side effects, tolerance or addiction.
Who uses it
It is already being used by physicians and healthcare professionals on thousands of patients. More than 100 American Veterans Affairs and Military Medical Centers are also using Alpha-Stim Therapy.
Better or worse than drugs?
Almost 99,9% of users in surveys consider Alpha-Stim effective, while more than 75% of them would choose Alpha-Stim over pharmaceutical therapies if they are given the choice.
The figure below shows patients who reported a positive response according to: WebMD Drug Surveys and Alpha-Stim Service Member and civilian surveys. How quickly will you see results?
You can see the effects of the Alpha-Stim treatment even after one session, but repeated treatments have shown to increase the strength and duration of the outcome.
How to start
You will first need to talk to your doctor for an evaluation of your condition. Your doctor will then recommend you an appropiate Alpha-Stim Treatment. The treatment can be done in clinic but it is also safe to be done at home.
